Allied Offers Convenient Online CoursesThis is a requirement if you receive your new real estate license before October 1, 2007 and have not completed all of the mandatory coursework. You must complete the Real Estate Principles, Practice, and Escrow or Finance courses (other elective courses are available) within 18 months from the date your license is issued. If you don't comply with this requirement within the 18-month timeframe, your real estate license is subject to immediate suspension. Please note that if you receive your new license on or after October 1, 2007, this renewal does not apply to you. By law, the minimum amount of time required before course completion is 18 days per course. If you enroll in two courses you will need a minimum of 36 days to complete the courses. Allied Real Estate School offers the following courses which satisfy this requirement. All eight courses are available online.
Please note: If a licensee has completed past college courses, their 18-month requirement may have been satisfied. The most common college courses that satisfy this prerequisite are: General Accounting, Micro Economics, Macro Economics or Business Law. It does not matter when the licensee took these courses as long as they can provide official transcripts or proof of completion to the State of California Department of Real Estate. If you have any questions about your 18-month requirement, just give the Admissions Representatives at Allied Real Estate School a call! According to California law, the minimum amount of time you can take to finish each course is 18 days. If you enroll in two classes, the least amount of time is 36 days, and so on.
